USA: UrbanPromise Trenton

Trenton, New Jersey
About this ministry

UrbanPromise Trenton was launched in July 2011 under the leadership of Carl Clark Jr, one of the first camp kids of UrbanPromise in Camden in 1988. UP Trenton works to develop Christian leaders who will transform the city of Trenton by providing free AfterSchool and Summer Camp programs--preparing disadvantaged inner-city children for the real world through spiritual, personal, physical, and educational development.

Our neighborhood-based programs operate out of Trinity Cathedral in the West Ward and Turning Point United Methodist Church in downtown Trenton.
20 StreetLeaders are mentored and trained through bi-weekly educational and enrichment sessions focused on their individual needs and interests.
We provide a safe and structured environment where young people can grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.
